In the morning when the sea is particularly calm, it is the ideal time for an unforgettable visit to the caves. Our trip begins at the historic port of the river arade, in Portimão. Then we sailed along the Arade River, passing through the village of Ferragudo and joining the two medieval fortresses. and thus reaching the Atlantic we follow the motor towards the southeast passing the beach of caneiro, the magnificent coast of carvoeiro with its rock formations from Algar Seco, Ale centeanes beach to the alfanzina lighthouse. It is between the beaches of Carvalho, Benagil and Praia da Marinha that the best known caves in the Algarve are located.
